About the job
As a Business Unit Manager, you are a driving force to translate our vision into the daily activities of your team. You decide which tactical and operational actions are necessary to achieve pre-set goals. Below are the basic responsibilities of the role:
 
  • P / L responsibility: you successfully guide the team towards pre-set KPIs and both short- and long-term targets. 
  • Sales: you support and coach the team in building and maintaining a healthy customer portfolio with committed partnerships as the goal. Your role will mainly consist of generating leads, creating opportunities & guiding the team as a seasoned networker towards a partnership tailored to the customer.
  • Tactical: As a manager, you determine the way you consult with your team. You do this by determining the daily focus, by thinking strategically about your team members' optimal strengths, and by making the necessary decisions accordingly.
    In addition, you take a critical look at the customer portfolios and recruitment procedures.
  • Operational: You identify your team's needs regarding new and/or existing customer relationships. Every now and then, you qualify a client's vacancies and translate these to the recruiters. You negotiate, discuss & challenge cooperation agreements. You support your team in the search for interesting profiles for multiple clients.
  • Coaching: You guide your team in the varied trajectory towards finding the ideal match between client and candidate. All this will ensure efficiency and speed in the recruitment processes (management from intake to contract signing). You do this by applying the tricks of the trade.

Some important notes:
  • You can demonstrate 2 to 5 years of experience as a recruitment manager and/or similar position.
  • You have a natural talent for commercial skills
  • Your strong communication skills and enthusiastic hands-on mentality empower every individual in your team.
