Are you completely in tune with what the hearts of children and parents desire? Do you want to ensure that they find their way smoothly to and in the webshop for your product categories? Do you want to take up a unique job that combines strategy, customer experience and a broad smile? Read on!

You will join the team of a well-know retailer responsible for online sales and the further development of their e-commerce story. You will be responsible for the further development of one or more product categories in their webshop (for example toys, outdoor toys, gaming or garden). You ensure that the decisive USPs of your product range (s) are highlighted in online advertising. You also adjust the store image of your category on the basis of hypes or trends, seasons or sales moments.

Together with your colleagues from the copy team you make sure that inspiring or sales supporting content is available. Important here: you always start from an omni-channel perspective and ensure that the development of our online story is always in line with the physical stores. You are also a trend watcher and pick out trends and evolutions from the outside world that can give your categories and our webshop that extra rainbow.

Are you looking forward to it? These are your concrete tasks:
  • You realize the turnover targets within the product categories for which you are responsible.
  • Together with the product group management team, you determine the strategic approach of a category and translate this into the right action points for our webshop.
  • You analyze and respond to the search and surfing behavior of our visitors. Are they having trouble finding their way to a specific page? Or is a certain article suddenly extremely popular? You take action!
  • And ... do you really want to know what our visitors think? Then you pick up the phone and sound out their experiences!
  • You analyze the performance of your category (s) and help optimize them.
  • You can have direct contact with suppliers to discuss online developments, collaborations or synergies.
  • You create reports and attach concrete insights and actions to them.
  • In short: you have a lot of expertise and we expect you to share it with your colleagues from the online team, purchase, sales, marketing ... Thanks to you, we become stronger as a team and we can work closer together.
  • You will have the possibility to work 2 days from home and 3 days at the office.
Your profile
  • Experience - You have two to five years of experience in a digital e-commerce environment. Affinity with their target market is not a must, but a plus.
  • Technical knowledge - You have experience with Google Analytics and Excel. If you're familiar with online feedback and research tools and conversion optimization tools, that's also a plus.
  • Curious and innovative - You're curious about what's going on in the e-commerce landscape and always want to try something new. You also see opportunities to optimize our webshop and seize them with full conviction.
  • Analytical - You can easily derive sharp analyses from data and immediately associate them with concrete actions.
  • Customer-oriented - You always look at the webshop through the eyes of the customer. This is your starting point for developing strategies, setting up online campaigns and - of course - further optimizing the webshop.
  • Language skills - You are Dutch speaking with a good knowledge of French or vice versa. This will enable you to communicate fluently with all your colleagues.
